Apartment Review for The Enclave At Mountain Brook - Birmingham, AL

I have been living at the Enclave for almost a year. Needless to say, I am highly disappointed. The mainteance crew is a joke. They ride around on those carts all day long doing nothing. They are constantly flirting with residents instead of taking care of the need of the Complex. Oustide lightning is horrible, they are teenagers, young children alike loitering the streets. The gate is almost, always open. That means that anyone is allowed to come in. I feel no sense of security. There is constant police presence, cars cruising, loud music, you name it. This place presents a beautiful outside appearance. The building is old, cabinets, and carpeting are outdated, and the dumpster area is ridiculous. You have residents who hang their clothing over the balcony, and at times the Complex looks like a zoo. They are not suppose to be any dangerous animals allowed however, there are pit bulls tied up on the patio, and some are just out, openly walking these dangerous animals. Needless to say, I am so disappointed. Who knows what will happen now that section 8 tenants are allowed to move. I'm not saying that everyone on section 8 is bad; howver, I feel like a bad situation is about to become much worse!! Stop pretending The Enclave at Mountain Brook. Let the potential residents know who they are in for. Moving is hard enough already. You shouldn't have to do it every year. If the dollar that important to you?
