Apartment Review for Mayfair Chateau Manor Apt - Birmingham, AL

I have lived here for the past 2 years and was happy up until Engel bought out the old management. Now the rent is ridiculous for the same old apartments with new (terrible looking) paint! The new management is absolutely the worst and I would not recommend this complex to my worst enemy! The old management at least new everyone's name. This managment sees me everyday and still offers to lease me a place every time they see me because they don't even realize I live there (even though I pass the office each day going to and from work and I see them). They care nothing about the tenants and only about the money. Everyone's rent has increased dramatically with some by at least 300 or 400 bucks and when you call the office you can't even get a real person to answer the phone! You are stuck with a recording system that operates properly some of the time. So if you are looking for a 40 year old building with cosmetic bandaids (also known as new paint and decoration schemes)ridiculous rent, horrible management (especially if you have an emergency) then move to Mayfair! However, I would not want a dog to live here and I am definitely looking to move!
