Apartment Review for Mayfair Chateau Manor Apt - Birmingham, AL

I have lived here for about 4 years and the place was ok up until recently when it got bought by another company. Before we knew it they were all over the place doing renovations that no one wants and then they raised our rents so much it got impossible for many to keep living there. Small rent increases over time make sense but hundreds of dollars increase all at once is unheard of. After being told that my rent will go up I looked and found an excellent place with much less rent than they were asking for. Its at a great location too, with newer apartments and more ameneties than Mayfair has or will ever have. During my search I surveyed many areas and my conclusion is there are far better places with much lower rents available. Mayfair is not worth it! I will not recommend Mayfair to anyone unless I want them to become my enemies.
