Apartment Review for Hillside West Apartments - Birmingham, AL

The apartment complex is in fair condition however, the apartment unit my son has moved into was damaged severly. The Office Manager, stated it has been a nightmare trying to get this apartment ready for my son to move into with the carpet and flooring problems. When we signed the lease we walked through and the was major damage to the front door and there was no hardware on the door frame for the locks, the oven door doesn't close, the faucet in the bathroom turns completely around and there was water dripping underneath. The Office Manager has the worst attitude I've run across in a long time and she was angry that she has to replace the stove, angry about the front door replacement, angry about replacing a stopper for the bathroom sink. This could have been a better move had she been honest about the damages and the rudeness was totally uncalled for towards me. I simply asked questions and she became angry over simple questions about things broken or not working properly. Then she thinks she can enter your apartment without notice and demand to have your security code on your alarm system.
