Apartment Review for Colonial Village At Inverness - Birmingham, AL

Save time and money and do not rent here! Office staff never answer their phones during work hours and when they do, they don't know what is going on. They increased my monthly rent in the middle of my contract citing that cable is a basic requirement for each apartment and forced us to pay an extra $55 a month in rent. Even though I have a dish, they still require me to pay the fee. They said that a line in my contract allows them to force this fee onto me. Another issue that has gone unchanged is the lighting around the buildings and specifically along stairwells. My roommate fell down a set of concrete stairs at night because of inadequate lighting. It was so serious, that she had to go to the ER and missed 2 weeks of work. Don't move here! I am moving out as soon as my lease ends.
