Apartment Review for Bankhead Towers - Birmingham, AL

I've lived at Bankhead for six years now. I've heard the police call the place "the twilight zone". That about covers it. The office people are totally inept. I've actually seen my last neighbor urinating in the hallway. Probably the worse thing i've seen is human feces on the floor in the lobby. This, unfortunately, has happened many times and maintenace has to clean it up. There are some nice people living here, but the crazy people outnumber them. I'd say about 80% of the residents here smoke crack. I'M NOT KIDDING. I'm trying to get into another apartment. I would advise anyone to avoid Bankhead Towers. I've been assaulted by a resident and had to go to the hospital. He's still living here, the manager did not make him leave. I guess I've said enough but I could go on forever. Don't live in Bankhead Towers.
