Apartment Review for 700 Condo's - Birmingham, AL

"Last year I lived in the penthouse of the 700 condo's. It should have and easily could have been a stress free beautiful year. Instead these things went wrong: Move in all is well, till you notice the little details that are missing: there's no switch for the garbage disposal, the hot and cold handle in the shower has been installed upside down, so cold is really hot and vice versa, the first time we flushed the toilet, water came out of the light fixture directly below it in the kitchen, the outside light worked for a month, then never worked again, and was never fixed. Then the really bad stuff started happening: someone's tires were slashed parked out front, a car broken into and computer stolen, a bike stolen, the flat screen TV in the community room stolen, scooter stolen from the "gated" back parking lot. So, I emailed J.H. Berry to please secure the lock on the gate, or at least put lights out back or in front, anywhere! It's pitch dark at night. They said they would. I believed them. 2 months go by. A knock on my door. It's my next door neighbors saying that they think my car has been broken into. I say, no way, it's in the corner in the back. Well it had been broken into and they stole my CD player. I emailed management again telling them what had happened, a month and a half ago! still no response. You've been warned. Live somewhere else."
